How does Mama Hangs lingerie fit?
Our models run large. If you're between two sizes, go for the smaller one for optimal support.
I am pregnant, and my breasts have changed a lot. What size should I choose?
- If you need lingerie to wear right now, take your current measurements.
- If you anticipate breastfeeding, refer to your pre-pregnancy lingerie size. The micromodal used in all our ranges is both stretchy and soft, adapting perfectly and returning to its original shape after each wash.
Which model is best for a generous bust?
The Essential Bra is your perfect ally! With its wide elastic band, adjustable straps, and supportive cups, it offers optimal support while accompanying you from pregnancy to breastfeeding.
What is the absorption capacity of the bras?
When it comes to absorption, our nursing bras are designed to absorb the equivalent of two nursing pads in each cup, which is about 30ml. However, unlike menstrual blood loss, we do not all experience milk loss equally. Some moms lose a lot while others lose little or no milk.
Are you in the early stages of breastfeeding? If so, your milk supply will stabilize, and leaks will be less abundant. Therefore, it may be necessary to change bras more frequently in the beginning.
- On the Mama Glow and the Essential Bra, the absorbent and waterproof surface covers almost the entire cup, except for the twist between the breasts, of course.
- On the Day n' Night, the absorbent surface is not present on the entire cup to accommodate the changes in your breasts during milk letdown. Without this, you would have an extremely rigid product.
How long can I wear a Mama Hangs nursing bra or bralette?
We recommend wearing your maternity lingerie for a maximum of 8 hours before washing it to ensure optimal absorption and perfect hygiene. However, every woman is different: the maximum absorption capacity is 30 ml, and some may need to change it more often, especially in the early stages of breastfeeding.
Bra or bralette, what should I choose?

Can I wear my lingerie at night?
